“We are always impressed by her knowledge”

“Best dentist! I have been Dr. Newman’s client for over 3 years now. My whole family became her clients and some of my friends and neighbors. We are very happy with the work she has done for us and we are always impressed by her knowledge, patience and time that she has explaining every single option in great detail before choosing the treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Newman to anybody from Calgary!”

we offer children’s dentistry?

Our staff at Lakeview Dental Centre are well experienced with children and their dental needs. Being an office of all women, with most of the staff having children of their own, our team members are all very nurturing and patient. We always explain the dental procedures to the children in terms that they can relate to and strive to create a comfortable environment so that they will want to keep coming back.

What can I expect as a new patient?

As a new patient, your first appointment with us will include a thorough review of your dental history, current oral health, and goals. Our team takes the time to get to know you and build a trusting relationship as we believe communication and confidence in your dental team are crucial to your overall experience.

At what age should my child start visiting the dentist?

The Canadian Dental Association recommends children see a dentist for the first time by 1 year of age or soon after the first tooth erupts, whichever comes first. Dental appointments for babies and young toddlers are focused on meeting the dental team, getting them used to seeing a dental office, and creating an environment where they can look forward to dentist appointments.

Do I need to visit the dentist if my teeth feel fine?

Yes! You should be seeing your dentist regularly, at least one to two times a year before something goes wrong. Dental issues can progress without any obvious signs or symptoms until it suddenly becomes an emergency, like a painful toothache or infection. Routine visits to the dentist help detect issues early on.
